This little puppy is Ellie. Normally my wife and kids pick out a theme, but the theme for this litter was colors and I didn’t love it, so. . . I renamed most of the puppies. This little girl is not “Ms Orange”, she is in fact Ellie. She is sweet and playful. She has great brindle pattern on her legs, the white on her chest, and white on the tips of her toes. I wish that she was available for adoption, but she was actually scooped up by someone on our waitlist.
With her personality and coloration, I can’t say that I am surprised that she found a home so fast. I am so glad that our puppies end up going to such great homes. Ellie will be missed, but this little fur baby is part of her forever family.
Like all of our puppies, she under went Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Puppy Culture training. She started poddy training, aka house training with us before she went home, and despite the occasional accidents she is learning quickly.
For this next part, I have to put this in for my wife as she likes to see it in print. “I WAS WRONG”. I have had and trained dogs all my life, I train horses, and feel very confident in my abilities to work with animals, and to be blunt when my wife first told me she wanted to buy all the training material for these programs, I that it was just a bunch of woowoo nonsense. But I was wrong. I publicly put it here in writing on the internet for the world to see, “MY WIFE WAS RIGHT. I WAS WRONG.” I was surprised when we started going through the training material at how good it was, and as I researched the data and the science behind it, I was impressed. But, I was most impressed with the results! These puppies have been so smart and developed such an affectionate personality.
She is roughly 70% poodle she should have a low to no shed hypo-allergenic coat. She got her good looks from her momma with the beautiful dark colors of Bernese Mountain Dog and her amazing brindle coat from her papa. Her coloration is really amazing! I just love her white little toes. Our poodle stud carries great curl genes and great colors.
Size wise, With her mother weighing in at 80 pounds and her father at 40 pounds, she should be somewhere in the 60 pounds range. Her coat will continue to develop as she grows out of the puppy stage, the wave/curl will also continue to come in. This little puppy is super cute but since she is already taken, we do one or two litters a year, and you are welcome to join our waitlist or give us a call/email.
